The Rijnlands presents: Annie
Students of the Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest present the well-known musical for all the family: Annie!
Annie once started as a comic strip: ‘Little Orphan Annie’, but became best known through the 1982 movie and was discovered by a later generation in the 2014 film adaptation. With such familiar hits as ‘It’s a Hard Knock Life’, ‘Opportunity’ and of course ‘Tomorrow’, this musical will be a feast of recognition for many!
Annie, the red-haired orphan, lives in an orphanage run by the awful Miss Hannigan. Every day she hopes, in vain, that her parents will come and pick her up.
More than 70 students have rehearsed singing, dancing and acting over the past few months. They have made clothes and built set pieces. Light and sound are also in the hands of the students. Just like our school, the play is bilingual (Dutch and English). It is a show you do not want to miss!
Performances are on February 10, 12, 13, 14 at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, February 11, there is a matinee starting at 3 p.m.
Tickets at a price of 8 euros each can be ordered online through this link. You cannot reserve a personalised seat. There is no intermission during the performance.
